Molecular Sieve 5A is available in both bead and pellet forms. Molecular Sieve 5A is a calcium aluminosilicate with a pore size of approximately 5 angstroms (0.5 nanometers). This precise pore size allows it to selectively adsorb n-paraffins (linear hydrocarbons) while excluding branched hydrocarbons and other larger molecules. Molecular Sieve 5A is offered in both bead and pellet forms, each designed to optimize performance in specific applications:  

  • Beads: Provide a high surface area, leading to rapid adsorption kinetics and efficient mass transfer. Ideal for applications requiring fast and effective separation of n-paraffins.
